My Previous Experience with Medical Device Liability

A few years ago, the medical products manufacturing company Sulzer Orthopedics issued a recall of some 25,000 artificial hips due to a manufacturing mistake. However, by the time the company announced the recall, 17,500 of the defective hips had already been implanted into the bodies of patients. I was able to secure settlements for 52 patients in the medical device liability litigation that ensued, recovering millions of dollars in damages.
